SOSitter does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
Information may be shared between care seekers and caregivers as reasonably necessary to evaluate, arrange, and perform a caregiving engagement. A care seeker’s exact care location is not disclosed to a caregiver merely because the caregiver views or applies for an opportunity. When a care seeker

We may disclose information to service providers that perform services on our behalf, including payment processing, identity verification, background screening, cloud hosting, communications, security, and customer support. These providers may process information subject to their contracts with SOSitter, their own legal obligations, and applicable privacy laws.

Following account deletion, information may be deleted, de-identified, or retained where permitted or required for these purposes.
Identity-verification and background-screening providers may retain information under their own retention practices and legal obligations. Background-check information maintained by Checkr may be retained for at least five years in accordance with Checkr’s applicable policies and requirements. SOSitter does not receive or store caregivers’ full Social Security numbers.
To the extent SOSitter can access government-issued identification documents through Persona, the manner and duration of storage may depend on Persona’s services and SOSitter’s technical configuration. SOSitter seeks to limit retention of sensitive information to what is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.
You may access, update, or correct certain profile and account information through your account settings.
You may request or initiate account deletion through available account functionality. Upon deletion, your profile will be removed from public view and personal information will be handled in

You may manage precise-location permissions through your device settings. Disabling location permissions may limit or prevent use of features that depend on precise location.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting hello@sositter.com. SOSitter may need to verify your identity before processing a request and may deny or limit a request where permitted by law.
